J. Chris...I agree completely. They're talking about setting up this big complex in Alaska and I think they already spent MUCHO bucks on it and they haven't even shown that the technology is viable enough for that expenditure or that logistic set up.

The Pentagon is a DAMN blackhole for cash. Just tonight NBC News had a story about there being a viable technology for defending against RPG attacks, but the Army didn't want to buy it because they wanted their OWN deal with Raytheon. Their deal would probably cost BILLIONS and take 5 years for a system to protect our soldiers from getting killed, but it would be a much better way for our senior defense people to get jobs with U.S. defense contractors. Seems like a no brainer...
