This is the ONLY reason they are continuing the failure. Politically, it's a loser for them. Dumb, stubborn macho pride is the ONLY reason our troops die in Iraq today. It's also the ONLY reason the chimp won't fire Rumsfeld. He's unable to REALLY admit any mistakes. I would have thought that Dubya/Rummy would substantially increase troop levels in an attempt to stabilize the country. They won't even do that because that would suggest they had troop levels wrong in the first place. Instead they shuffle the troops around Iraq from hot spot to hot spot. Is there anyone counting how many times Falluja has been liberated? jttmab
