ep, i think all precious metals will move, relative to base metals, energy, and garden variety common stocks, because:

(i) the crowd (a step away from retirement or job loss) and the boyz (a moment's distance from redemptions) will try to make up for lost ground and lost time,

(ii) the pause will turn into a stop,

(iii) fear of economic collapse will balance out terror about inflation, and

(iv) so spare change will gravitate towards items that have no correct price, be they modern art or precious metals characterized by 'no correct price' and small market cap

... as we enter the beginning of the end game, a process that may occupy a considerable elapsed time (hopefully 4 years).

i think i might even buy some microsoft (and, gad, perhaps even qcom) but first need to figure out what to short in order to fund such purchases without burdening own cash hoard :0)
