Peter, If I were Russia or China I'd love Iran to keep up their nuclear program.

Just like during the Iran/Iraq war the Reagan administration liked to keep things just even enough to bleed both countries as much as possible. Just like during the Russian invasion of Afghanistan the Reagan administration liked to keep the "Jihad" going as hot as it possibly could.

You seem to be so intent on your hatred of Clinton that it blinds you to what's in the best interest of your country and yourself.

Your answer on how you would have handled Lil' Kim seemed like an unenthusiastic after thought.

A strong isolationist response would have provoked the mentally unstable dictator, but the cost of his attack would have been a fraction of the cost of provoking him today.

If Clinton had tried that you think that he'd be accused of being a thug, fat chance? Fact is that there's a time for talk but there's also a time when talking is nothing more than a distraction (Iran). What Clinton did was to send a message to the world that the US doesn't have the guts to stand behind its own tenets.
