Yes, they all looked better, except for maybe
House--always scroungy and unshaven. Dang good
episode--at first I'd thought I missed an episode,
but that was actually a pretty clever way to
resolve things for us, while not thrusting new
viewers into the middle of the story arc. They
can go back later and re-live the surgery, maybe
midseason.

The oncologist needs to pull back a bit, geeze,
does he have a crush on House or something?

I hope we see Sela Ward again--I want to see House
wake up and smell the coffee, get serious with the
young thing and move on.

Going back to the vicodin was lame, predictable.

Cuddy (Edelstein) is the most improved so far, her
acting was pretty shaky in the first few episodes,
now she seems fine with her character.

I am going to paste here the characters from wiki
so I can refer to this:

Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) - The show's protagonist, he is the head of the Department of Diagnostic Medicine, an infectious disease specialist, and nephrologist.
Dr. Lisa Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) - Administration: Dean of Medicine.
Dr. James Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) - Department Head: Oncology.
Dr. Eric Foreman (Omar Epps) - Department: Diagnostic Medicine, neurologist.
Dr. Allison Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) - Department: Diagnostic Medicine, immunologist.
Dr. Robert Chase (Jesse Spencer) - Department: Diagnostic Medicine, intensivist.

Other recurring characters
Stacy Warner (Sela Ward) – Dr. House's ex-girlfriend; former lawyer for Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital.
Mark Warner (Currie Graham) – Stacy's husband.
Edward Vogler (Chi McBride) – Billionaire owner of a pharmaceutical firm and former board chairman of the hospital.
Brenda Previn (Stephanie Venditto) – Head Nurse
Steve McQueen – House's pet rat.
