"Algeria oil production reaches 1.5 million barrels

Energy Minister Chakib Khelil, in an interview to "El Khabar" said:

Production increased 100.000 barrels per day this year climbing 50.000 barrels per day em 2007.

Khelil said 13 new fields found in Sahara in the first 7 months of this year, that will alow Algerian production to reach 2 million barrel day in 2010."

In the meantime, in addition to the fields I already listed in decline, OPEC member Indonesia is now a net energy importer...

The world will need this, the GOM, Sahklin, and other places as yet developed to offset depletion and increased consumption in India, China, Pakistan, etc...
