Will she or won't she, and should we care? Power Line Yesterday, I linked to a report from Fox News that Mary Mapes was going to work with Dan Rather on his weekly one-hour show on the HDNet Channel. Fox News' source was Radar Magazine. However, both Mapes and HDNet owner Mark Cuban deny that Mapes will work for this outlet. For its part, Radar still insists that Mapes told one of its reporters (apparently via email) that she was going to work with Rather. Meanwhile, Mapes, after reportedly first denying that she had ever heard of Radar, now says she's heard of the magazine but never spoke with any of its personnel.
