There's actually a movement in western medicine away from routine circumcision. news.bbc.co.uk There is even a segment of the Jewish population which has moved away from it. cirp.org Might have had to fight with my wife over our kid, but I was secure in the knowledge she was a girl, and avoided discussing the issue. Personally, I don't feel mentally scarred or traumatized for life. Maybe a physical scar remains, but I can't remember the incident, no matter how much I regress. No plans to get a transplant.
