Israel has the right to defend itself -- but Israel DOES NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO COMMIT WAR CRIMES while defending itself. So, Hizbollah is an integral part of lebanon, like the democrats only Hizbollah does a lot of social work without being in power. Hizboolah attacked Israel and murdered some people and kidnapped a couple. You didn't like Israel's response. Now knowing that there are 15,000 missiles aimed at your home you evacuate 2 million people so they won't get hurt. Now what do you do? Remember of course if you release the three lebanese prisoners you have, you have no leverage, and if you give back the farms, that they are also claimed by syria.

As usual, you try to justify war crimes by justifying the war. GST.. time to really test your philosophical beliefs. For over 50 years we've lived with the concept of Mutually Assured Destruction and massive retaliation. That mens, should any enemy attack us with nuclear weapons, even just one of them.. we will retaliate with massive force and turn their cities into rubble. And when that is accomplished, we'll send over some more to bounce the rubble around. Sooooo... Using your own philosophical beliefs and since the initial attack by our enemy constitutes an obvious war crime, would we be justified in using nuclear weapons in a retaliatory strike? In other words, can we commit a war crime in order to retaliate for a war crime committed against us? Hawk
