Wow -- this endless squirming to justify war crimes is astonishing.

A man shoots another man in cold blood on the streets of New York. As his defense lawyer you advise him to use the US policy of "mutually assured destruction" to assert that if the US can use nuclear weapons then you can target and kill innocent people on the streets of New York.

When one country targets and murders the innocent women and children of another country, then we should look upon this for what it is -- mass murder and a war crime.
