My guess is we'll see a lot of these between now and the November elections. No admission of mistakes; just policy changes wrapped in some bland explanation like "it was time or some such."

It's possible the Bushites have introduced a new and much worse governing style that will be with us for some time. Never, ever admit mistakes; don't do any serious policy explanations in public pronouncements, only spin; and never admit policy changes are made because mistakes were fixed.

Secret CIA prisons... You've got to be kidding. I was told by posters on numerous threads that that was all poppycock...and no such prisons existed. Interesting isn't it how in the end truth will OUT.. It may take a decade to weed out the facts and fiction of this WOT...and all its consequences but I trust that historians as well as persons with the inside information will reveal it all.
