You've got nothing, do you Itchy?

At this time, supporting Israel above all other countries works against the interests of the United States. It's unfair, the entire world sees what our ENABLING of the Israelis causes, and it's just clearly wrong to any objective observer.

If Israel was a real democracy, they'd have a one-state solution and let everyone vote DEMOCRATICALLY. As it is, Israel attacks its two democratic neighbors trying to starve one to death and bomb the other to death.

The people in Beirut live much like Americans, only better. I do believe it would be more pleasant to vacation in Beirut than in, say, Alabama. That would be pre-Israeli bombing.

If the US stopped backing Israel, it could become the honest broker that could help come up with a negotiated solution that would help...Israel. As it is, there's no 'court' or 'neutral zone' in the world that is powerful enough to make both sides knock it off.

Then again, maybe Israel's rightwing government simply wants perpetual war.
