LC, I only follow Canadian companies, so I know nothing about other American companies which I would guess this is.

The historic and past producing Cliff Mine is located on the Alaska coastline near Valdez. It was a very rich underground gold mine that produced 51,740 ounces of gold before its forced closure in 1942 due to constraints placed on gold mining during WWII. The mine closure was not the result of ore depletion or economic factors. The historical average recovered grade of the Cliff Mine was 1.74 ounces of gold per ton (opt), which is extremely rich by any standard. In 2003 Western Warrior concluded a five hole 4855 foot drill program to test potential extensions of the veins at the lower mine. At present management reviews several go-forward options for this property.
