The clever machines haven't been around for many decades and there could already be a collection of bombs in various places. I wonder if the USA similarly smuggled bombs into Russia. That's much easier than launching dirty great rockets into space. I suppose the USA wouldn't bother as management of the bomb would be difficult to impossible, whereas they could always do an on-time delivery by B-52 or via low earth orbit. When one doesn't have a rocket, one has to make do with a donkey. Osama has donkeys, so I suppose that's what he would use. Mqurice
