You think that guy could gush any harder there, LOL? He must have a GWB poster on his wall that he sings to before he goes to bed at night. This whole issue should have been dealt with through constitutionally acceptable legislation five years ago. That's how our system works. If the system can produce legislation that holds up and does the job, more power to them. The ideal next step would be take the two most moronic phrases in American electoral politics, "tough on" and "soft on", and ban them from all political debate. Then we could have events like today where people try to get things done instead of smarmy glee at the idea that one side or the other has picked up a 2 millimeter advantage in the 50.x% political game.
