Here we go again, this question gets asked every 3 months: US residents can buy canadian stocks directly from the canadian exchange via either www.penntrade.com or www.interactivebrokers.com. IB is cheaper commissions, but their customer service will make you homicidal. Penntrade more expensive but their guy in their Idaho office can actually answer questions in an accurate and helpful way. Can only buy canadian warrants thru penntrade.
