I think you are kind of naive!

Bush is stupid. He is virtually a puppet of the Neocons and PNAC that believe in achieving American supremacy and hegemony over the rest of the world!

But so far, their plans have not been going well. And, Bush, as president gets all the blame! Now, ain't that just too bad! Oh well, the best laid plans of mice and men oft go awry, so the saying goes!
