I ran across another post on another system promoting the idea of carrying a high-dollar GTC Sell (..say $2..) on your shares to put a crimp in the wrinkle of Shorters.

I'm not sure just how effective that is, but since it doesn't cost anything it might be worthy of further consideration. If there were some freak event that executed your trade, you could always by a mess back on a retrace.
