The Dems have yet to convince the public that they would be any more competent than Bush. It scares a lot of people to see the guy who just defeated Lieberman in the primaries, for instance, flanked by Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. We had 8 years of a competent Dem. president and 6 years of an incompetent GOP president. Which party do you think looks more competent right now?
