JF, I notice no comment on the Neos controlling the Republican party.

The issue isn't about the Neos controlling the GOP. That's debatable, especially this year with some indications of a "kindler, gentler" Bush administration. But even if those were genuine overtures, it seems to be too little too late.

Anyway, the issue is how the Dems are going to capitalize politically and whether they will truly represent a competent alternative to the Bush administration. Unfortunately, it's a debate over who's going to be worse, which can only result in a pyrrhic victory.
