I think oil will decline but I am completely alone in my views so what does that mean??? <gg>

There are ZILLIONS of alternative fuel and vehicle startups being funded by the VCs, this started about 2 years ago, Lithium Ion is a big one, sorry I don't know much about it except that China is experimenting with Lithium Ion cars. Then a bunch of actual electric car companies and a bunch of solar investments. I don't get involved too much in that area, they are mostly the chemists/biotech guys that evaluate the alternative fuels BPs if its an actual fuel company etc. - I just do internet.

At the same time, the Prius is starting to be the "in" car for even the wealthy people around here (CA). I have a VC friend who just bought a Prius, you can drive in the diamond lane with a Prius. She can afford any car she wants. The prius is starting to be like the VW bug in terms of coolness.

I see so many predictions of $150 barrel "oil shocks" it is mindblowing. We have been through this before. I think the actual chances of $150 per barrel oil is about as high as $10 per gallon oil.
