Silicon Motion Raises 2006 Third Quarter
Commenting on the revision, Silicon Motion's President and CEO, Wallace Kou, said: "The third quarter is shaping up well for us. Recently we have seen signs of improvement in the pricing environment for NAND flash memory and, more importantly, we are seeing demand continue to strengthen for flash memory cards that are used with cellular phones."

Yesterday, there was a rumor at Briefing.com about SNDK and NOK but I thought NOK had already awarded this contract to Samsung a few days ago and SIMO was supposedly providing the controller for those microSD cards.

However, once SNDK started to show some strength, a rumor started to circulate that SNDK will get a large NAND order for handsets from NOK. Just passing it along since it's out there.
