I like Ken Salazar Dem. Senator from Colorado. I like Edwards and Obama also. Most of the cool people we would have called lefties a few years ago are calling them selves centrists today.

I spent a while searching for a few honorable leftists on SI. I admit that it was more work than I thought it was. I found one. Faultline has not posted on SI for almost two years.

In national politics, Zell Miller and Joe Lieberman might qualify.
