As a voter, I absolutely hate the "run for cover" mode.

Me too. I'm looking for noble champions who will dare to lead us up the road in our struggle for freedom and justice in the world.

This type of thing feels more like pulling over to a rest stop ... one that needs some custodial attention.

Woman Charges Pastor With Two Rapes -- During Exorcism!

Apparently confusing orgasms with exorcisms, a Ft. Worth church pastor has been accused of raping a woman twice, both times during the course of the supposed exorcism of demonic spirits.

The pastor, Leonard Ray Owens, 63, allegedly raped a 22-year-old woman who says he raped her on two separate occasions at his home, where she originally went for counseling after she had a miscarriage, according to an AP report.

The woman told police that Owens had told her a "sex spirit and lesbian demon were inside her and needed to be cast out" as he ordered her to lay down on the floor. Yelling "..loose her in the name of Jesus!" Owens, a self-proclaimed prophet, pulled down her pants, and when she struggled to get up, fought with her, pinned her down, and raped her.

According to the arrest warrant affadavit, Owens then ordered her to wash her face "in the name of Jesus" and to "read Psalm 105:15, which says to do no harm to prophets."

The woman then says he raped her again a month later after allegedly praying for another church member.

Owens is currently free on $25,000 bail and awaiting trial on sexual assault charge. He says he is innocent
