CJ, let's take three issues: - Illegal immigration: Democrats cater to illegal immigrants, despite their pro-union stance. All this to win votes from the growing Hispanic bloc of voters. (To be sure, Republicans do the exact same thing.) - Environment: Conservation or make gas more affordable to poor and middle-class families? Prevent global warming or keep homes warm and well-heated during the bitter winters of the NE? - Terrorism: Rely on intelligence over neocon adventures? Sure, as long as intelligence agents are prevented from doing anything that can remotely jeopardize the rights of captured terror suspects. It's all one contradiction after another.
