Evangelicals believe in witnessing about Christ, but I don't know any that believe they should force anyone to accept Chirst. I.e. they fundamentally are freedom of choice individuals just like Libertarians. Evangelicals by and large are much in love with America, human freedom, free enterprise, property rights, the dominion of man over nature, the right of man over other species, etc. They make excellent Libertarians. I should also add that they doubt global warming (although the cracks are showing on that front), and are anti-science. What more could you ask for in a Libertarian?

You might for example look at Patrick Henry College, whose motto is "For Christ & For Liberty" to get an idea of things. I note with some amusement, that back in March of this year, 5 out of 16 faculty resigned, over the strict biblical creationism stance the college takes. Of well, change may come. Please note that the primary goal of this fine institution is to churn out conservatives for governmental jobs. The Bush WH has looked rather fondly on this unaccredited institution of higher ignorance.
