A number of people have claimed that AMD's 65nm process was broken, and it seems that those people were incorrect. A number of people have claimed that CMW was going to eat AMD alive. Those number of people didn't seem to be aware of the production complications that INTC appears to be encountering in producing meaningful quantities of 65nm CMW product. I'm guessing that by the time INTC can produce meaningful quantities of 65nm CMW product that AMD will have much more competitive offerings perhaps leapfrogging CMW in performance.
