I think China will become fully Capitalist when the time is right. I thought they already had. :-) We need Japan and India to both have much power. Israel, Britain, Australia, N. Zealand--and yes France, too Yep. Poll says 54% of French think military action should be used against Iran if they won't back down form nuke development. It isn't the French I have a quarrel with- -it's that gov't of theirs. Now if the gov't will only go with that poll. I'm afraid that we will someday need to share superpower status with China. If they aren't Communist and out to conquer the world, I think things can be worked out. The Chinese people are ancient and will overcome Communism in time. They are entirely distinct from the misfits who somehow survived the evolutionary filters. They got Communism forced on them. Just like the Russians did. Then they will have the same concerns as the U.S. re: fanatics, extremists, and sickos. I think we can include Europe and Russia in that too.
