You didn't mention the link? If I am not mistaken, you did on another thread, "Don't Blame Me, I voted for Kerry" where you had a different moniker.

I did at one point have a different but closely related screen name on SI. That screen name was never used on any of my posts on the threat you mention. I didn't start posting on that thread until after I changed my screen name. Also I have always used the same account on SI, so my old posts now show as being from Tim Fowler, just as my new posts do.

I don't think I've posted about links between Saddam and Al Qaeda on the thread you mention. When I did earlier post about such links, I directly stated that I didn't think they where significant, or at least that there is no evidence that strongly suggests that they where significant.

Links with other terrorists yes, but I've never claimed there was evidence of important links with Saddam's regime and Al Qaeda.

Edit - BTW Re: "The spy agency concluded that before the war, Saddam's government had no relationship with al-Zarqawi and found no proof Saddam either harbored or turned a blind eye toward Zarqawi."

No ongoing relationship and no harboring of or turning a blind eye to, would certainly indicate no significant links, but it doesn't indicate no contact or links at all. There may well have been no contact at all. I'm not really asserting there was.
