They not only "know" the moral truths but intend to force them down our throats through politics, the media, you name it. This is the more recent politically active fundamentalist. Yes, they scare me as well. However, I can understand why they are getting more active. They view the current legal/judicial system as hostile to religious faith. If the most important part of your life (so you have been taught) is sharing your faith, then being precluded from doing so in certain aspects of public life seems like an intrusion into your "rights". Patrick Henry College is precisely about this. Their goal is to generate as many fundamentalist leaning politicians as possible. Campus Crusade for Christ is morphing into the same thing. It is a long term campaign. The Discovery Institute and Intelligent Design is the same thing. Read up on Phillip Johnson and the Wedge Document. They need their butts swatted IMO.
