Doug asked why I only made that point to him. That was not a logical question because the post he replied to explicitly asked everyone - the whole thread - to stop the rephrasing and reiterating. Muzosi started to heat up a bit too much (and I've seen this kind of thing quite a couple of times before and hence probably know where he's coming from - see e.g. 7 below). Muzosi: Message 22794915 Because of this I warned Muzosi but I also put in a request to Doug. 3. I got a complaints and remarks via PM. 4. IMO Magrathea has a point here: Message 22794611 5. So does Paul here: Message 22794882 6. Besides Mag and Paul there are others here publically voicing their concern over the amount of posts or the amount of emotion in them. 7. He was voted to get banned before because of this, and I don't exactly like to have to organize for this again. 8. I discussed this quite a few times before more privately. The sum of the above got me to post what you read. On your remark about speed limits: You're right that some others post a heck of a lot as well. There are concerns about that as well e.g. as voiced by Magrathea. Like you I'd also prefer less and better quality posts often as well. Still some of these guys like DRBES make some quick points with some humor and the thread doesn't seem to take that as offense and doesn't get triggered to keep replying on and on (a big difference imo). Also there are some others like me who post a lot around certain events like earnings. So you see why one rule fits all seems inappropriate to me in particular :). I encourage you to search for previous discussions around the subject of 'speed limits' (look for posts from Magrathea for instance from around June) before commenting more on this subject in order not to go over the same grounds again. IXSE: Can we put a stop to "snakey" posts like these that care to sideswipe others directly under the guise of their "not meant to offend" posts. Why don't these guys grow up...In my opinion they add exactly zero "investment" content in their comments as far as I have been able to glean...and this is an investment thread as I understand it. Interesting that the guys that actually challenge posts with "meaningful reasons why", like Doug and like Sarmad are the guys that get to take vacations while guys like Muzosi and this so-called "poster" that I'm addressing get to "play their little games" unchecked. Once again, this is an investment thread isn't it or is it going to continue to degenerate into an "Ann Landers" type thread where whining and measly sideswipes like the one I'm addressing are permitted? Posts like this Joseph S. Lione one that express his/her "personal" likes and dislikes at the expense of me or anyone for that matter surely opens a door that needs to be shut immediately or we'll all be making posts like his sleazy, sneaky post. I don't get it...This style of post is cancerous and highly contagious to this thread and far more serious in that regard than anything anyone has been banned for recently imo! You need to stop it immediately or many here will take it as open policy for this once again detestable sideswipe posts.
