Freshman at Cal. Yankee fan. I died on the hit. Instantly reborn with the catch. Life was good. I grew up on the Yanks and the Dodgers. I think it was cuz the first games I heard were probably the '52 Series. Asking the appropriate questions, I came to conclude that, if the best teams were in the Series, they were my teams. Then they were mentioning this kid on the Yanks, so I figured, new guy, I'm his fan. 7 has been my lucky number ever since. Saw Mantle once; Dad took us to the '61 all star game; this game... sanfrancisco.giants.mlb.com The Stick is quite a place. Better weather in Dec for the Niners than in the summer for the Giants. Went to a fog-delayed game between SF and LA one night; watched a hot dog wrapper released from the second deck behind home sail out over the center field fence.
