RE: "I am not very familiar with utek, and would welcome info--"

Please review the last 10 years of annual revenues for UTEK and compare these numbers to the revenues produced by the leaders in semi equips, AMAT, ASML, KLAC, LRCX, NVLS, VSEA.

No recent developments that I know of. (I don't follow the company that closely though.) I bought because company seems to have a lot of patents and/or promising technologies. This sometimes has gotten investors enthused and a resulting higher stock price. However, delivery on the promise has never occurred, and the stock price subsequently drops. As is the case now (imo).

Company has goodly amount of cash and not too much long-term debt. So there's some margin of safety. (Of course, the stock could still decline from current levels.) I'm guessing and betting that the risk/reward is such that it's okay to be a buyer or holder (that's me) here, and that the stock eventually will come into favor yet again based on the company's patents/technology promise.

Jmo, and I've been wrong many, many times.
