not everyone is dying to get here in this Country which is the argument that I read to contradict that we are not popular with other countries

More conflating - jamming together two metrics that are not necessarily related. It is possible that millions could want to enter the US (as they do) while much of the remaining 5 billion+ still don't approve of US policies. One point requires measuring intent to immigrate while the other measures opinions.

If everyone hated us, intent to immigrate would be low. But a noticeable intent to immigrate is no proof of majority opinion worldwide. That's just sloppy thinking.

But acknowledging that fact would mess up the partisan argument at stake.
