Well since Paul martin is the one who originally sent them, why do you think he did it? All harper did was agree to extend the mission, the rest of it was all Martin.

NATO troops are in Afghanistan to help ensure that there are not more terrorist attacks in the non Moslem parts of the world. You really believe that if we all left these countries there would be no serious attacks?

Don't worry too much about anyone thrashing you for one or more spelling/typo errors. We are all guilty of making such errors ourselves, sooner or later. Sad to say, but I have occasionally seen spelling/typo errors even in respectable magazines like Readers Digest and TIME and the New York Times newspaper! and also in letters written by CEOs of big businesses! I will not go into the reasons for it because it would be rather embarrassing to a lot of people. .
