I understand OPEC members can cut their production to zero if they like, which will cause a rapid price rise of oil.

OPEC & other oil producers won't let the price to go too low to make them losing money, & not too high that causes recession. The most profits they could get is the highest oil price that doesn't induce economic downturn.

Oil will never run out

What kind of process does it convert air pollutants back to cruel ?

Oil will just quietly become a smaller and smaller part of the world's economy

The far right won't think in this way. Do you want those cartel government to use oil revenue & build nuclear bombs ? Man, those people are religious fanatics! Oil will always be the important part of the world's economy, as long as it can drive engines.

Iran would suffer a lot more than the west from their production stopping.

There'll be black market. Without any military confrontation, one cannot completely shut down their oil exports.

I definitely don't want Islamic Jihad wielding nookular bombs ... How about smuggled nukes?

Well said ! Frightened enough ! Iran likely will get bombed !
