Who are the leftys who pretend to be center? I haven't actually seen anyone do that here. Do you have a list? I mean since you mention them, you must have some idea who you mean. I have NO idea who these sneaky lefites might be. Or are these just leftys from "somewhere" that aren't actually on this thread?

For a time in my youth, I was clearly on the far left, protesting the establishment at ever opportunity, living on a commune for a year and a teepee after that. I moved to the right of center at some point and was hardened onto the right during my disappointing personal struggle with the clinton admin/ethics. I am still growing, changing, and renewing so who knows what will come of my 'position' in the future and from what I can gather nobody really gives a hoot. However, I do recognize a hard left position that is no where near the liberal progressive position of those calling them selves 'centrists' these days. Although I have done it myself in the past, it no longer seems fair to lump them all into one camp, simply because they wont go along with everything that is 'right' of center.
