"There you go bringing US foreign policy into this!" The US had nothing to do with Frances willingness to help the Nazi's round up French Jews, or it's denial of the act, and attempts to steal the property of French jews for the glory of France. Nothing good can be said of Frances attempt to turn the French navy over to Germany as they surrendered. And since they didn't fight to protect France, they just suck...... And besides I have friends in England who told me the Chunnel was a French plot to smuggle rabid French Poodles into England so that England would have rabies too.
