some poster here in this group still have much disdain for amd because of jerry; it takes a while for perceptions to change.

How true but AMD fans should have just as much contempt for him as anyone else. He used AMD as his personal property to wage a vendetta against Intel, all to the detriment of shareholders. He was the best thing that ever happened to Intel. Think where AMD might be today if not for Jerry.

Much of the arrogance that Jerry Sanders has is still reflected in the comments of AMD's execs. Of course, their market share gains and profits are a "deodorant" to that kind of stuff.
