Yes, Murtha escaped - they had him on film but he wouldn't take the envelope full of money, he just told them maybe he would in the future someday. Pretty canny. But clearly he wasn't offended by being offered an envelope full of cash.

Hmmmmm......Delay first gave up his position as house whip; then quit is position in the House altogether. Did you think he did it on a whim or voluntarily? That it had nothing to do with the corruption charges hanging over his head?

As for Murtha, I will repeat......he was acquitted by the grand jury. Unless you have more evidence to the contrary, his situation is not at all analogous to Delay's IMO.
