The "in" at the end is an integral part of the name but not for your last moniker. So I recommended attaching "IN" in front of the SANE as I believe the resulting name described you better in light of your offering the Wikipedia snippet as proof positive that the Islamic menace is spreading. As for I am taking something out of context ? I think not. Message 22770851 ; Yes, I was being forthright there. But I was referring to my recent posts with reference to Malaysia. Looks like you are barking up the wrong tree here.BTW referencing that same post of yours ... Have you any comment on the utterly disgraceful lack of help offered the Palestinians by their oil rich Muslim brethren ? I don't believe I know the real answer to that one. But, given the history of mutual distrust and betrayal exhibited by the Arabs against one another (see T.E. Lawrence's "Seven Pillars of Wisdom" and the movie "Lawrence of Arabia) I am not surprised they did not help the Palestinians. Perhaps they do not wish to upset the US and Israel by giving them monetary aid and thereby risk retaliation. By not helping the Palestinians, the oil-rich Arabs were perhaps hoping to succeed in creating the image that Israel was responsible for causing their plight, a circumstance that will invite world condemnation on Israel. Furthermore, soon after the Oslo Accord, a number of nations had promised to provide monetary aid. I must admit I have NOT kept tabs on who were contributing and how much and whether they still do. It is possible that Palestinian dishonesty might have caused the donors to cease their donations. We may never know but it is not inconceivable a secret deal was struck between the oil-rich Arabs on the one hand and the US and Israel on the other that no monetary be given to the Palestinians by the former so that the Palestinians are abandoned to the mercy of Israel which, no doubt, have tacit plans for the total occupation of Palestine and ultimately absorbing it into Eretz Israel. Verily, there's always more than meets the eye. The case involving the Christian (converted from Islam) would not have become much publicized if it were not for the fact that American shortsightedness and failure in Afghanistan, Iraq and Lebanon has emboldened all Muslims worldwide with the result they have become more assertive than ever. Also, the government-compliant media of the west had opportunistically pounced on this case to create as much political capital as possible against the Muslims. As Malaysia is a sovereign country, it has every right to apply its laws as it sees fit. (By the way, Bush once tried to lecture Jiang Ze-Min with regard to China's record of human rights. Bush was roundly told to mind his own business by Jiang who pointed out that China has its own laws.) If the couple involved is pragmatic enough, they could have left for friendlier places where they could assume new identities and start afresh. By remaining where they are, they seem to be a couple of masochists. Otherwise they are willing or unwitting pawns for anti-Muslim forces. If so, shame on them! .
