Diffcult? I never said it was difficult. Some of the first cars produced were electric. What IS IMPOSSIBLE as of now is to produce cheaply. an electric car with a range between recharges or battery changes in the 300 mile area- -about what gasoline cars get out of a tank of gas. THAT'S where the cost of that car is- -in those batteries. Go to a drugstore and price lithium batteries. A gallon of gas has about 33 MJ/liter in energy.

A gallon is 3.785 liters.

So a gallon has 125 MJoules of energy.

Figure out how many of those batteries it would take to give the energy of even ONE gallon of gas and what it would cost. You'll quickly see why that price is so high. What is needed is cheaper ways of storing large amounts of electrical energy at a reasonable cost. The Tesla site mentions capacitors. They're another way of storing electrical energy, but even less efficient. And considerably more dangerous.

What you are illustrating is that you have no understanding of engineering and physics. I suggest you get some before continuing.
