"Pakistan and SA may be better solved through diplomacy."

REALLY?

Good luck with that, of course.

Be sure to let us all know when some positive results are available! (Their recent granting of amnesty to OBL and their pals the Taliban has me a wee bit worried, though....)

(And, gee... I sure hope that nuclear-armed Pakistan doesn't go 'all Taliban' on us while we are waiting for 'diplomacy'! It's all on the edge of that right now. And Saudi Arabia? Our best bet for reducing the influence of the Wh'abbists and religious zealots there might be to pull our troops out of the middle of the civil war in Iraq --- perhaps pull back to base in Kurdistan and Kuwait. That way, the Sunni world [Saudi Arabia most definitely *included*] might be forced to oppose the gains made by the Shiites in Iraq... [who are backed by Iran]. This could keep *all* the extremists busy squabbling with EACH OTHER... and take the bull's eye off of us.)

"...we have relations with those countries which would allow nonmilitary action to succeed...such was not the case with SH"

When did you become such a big fan of the powers of 'diplomacy'?
