What does the paper that printed the words of Brig. Gen. Mark Scheid, commander of the Army Transportation Corps and of Fort Eustis have to do with anything?

You can find the General's words on Google, or in the Washington Times if you prefer (or likely Peking Daily for that matter, LOL). So what? His words are HIS WORDS... regardless of who prints them.

Just as Col. Pete Devlin's words (chief of intelligence for the Marine Corps in Iraq) are his own words:

Think about the words... don't fixate about whatever newsprint you happen to see them reprinted in, Peter.

'Shooting the messenger' went out with the Greeks. <GGG>

(Personally, I find the fact that Rummie *ordered* subordinants to NOT draw up plans for the occupation of Iraq to be NEWSWORTHY.)
