What morality do torturers have? Who's using torture now?
Who's trying to rationalize justifications for its use?
Where does that effort come from? The White House.

First, the people who created 9/11 have zero morals.
That's one thing everyone can agree on.

Second, would anyone capable of committing 9/11 then turn around and be incapable of destroying evidence?

Make no mistake, the 10 people in the training exercise were very expendable.

Anybody in the chain of command only needs to be told a codename for the exercise. An order would be to initiate exercise "Fandango". That's all that gets passed down.

The only person who would know what Fandango really was would be one of the dozen or so conspirators.
The only people who would know that Fandango had taken place and what activities were involved would be the top guy and the "team" of 10 guys.
Kill 10 guys after killing 3000? No problem. People in the military die all the time. They're certainly easier to have greater control over in the environment of the military. Send them here or there and soon...probably even before 9/11 since they were finished with the job before then...they're all dead for various reasons.

What kind of morality is at work in ordering the EPA to lie and tell everyone the air, which was known to be deadly, was safe to breathe and everyone should return to New York?
Where did that effort come from? The White House
