What you are illustrating is that you have no understanding of engineering and physics. I suggest you get some before continuing. You appear to lack the understanding to understand you don't and they do bear on the problem. I never said an electric would not work. In fact, I said such have been built in the past. The problem is economic: YOU CANNOT AT THIS TIME BUILD ONE WITH DECENT RANGE AND SPEED AT A PRICE THIS IS REASONABLE! It's that simple. That is likely to remain the case for some time. In case you missed the business news, the price of oil has been falling and is now below $66/bbl.
