Who cares if they are sold out, you are talking about 5 minutes of Toyota production most likely. Give me some evidence that electric will be cost effective in the near future

Why do I have to do that? I can give you hundreds of examples of products that are not "cost effective". Why does whole foods market exist? They sure aren't "cost effective".

Your argument is the same as Duke's. This is not as cost effective as a Hyundai, as if that is relevant.

There isn't any reason to bash this tesla company. Obviously it upsets people who for some reason are entrenched in the status quo. As long as Tesla is PROFITABLE, that is the key issue. And that is the only issue. Doesn't matter what GM or Toyota do.

My opinion is that if an electric car generates a bunch of buzz that is the only requirement to start the train on electric cars. The EV1 or whatever it was from GM was an ugly tin box. Everything GM builds that is not a huge SUV has no imagination or appeal, which is their REAL problem. Has nothing to do anything else but marketing. This tesla car is already well marketed.
