It's not persuasive. Even the 911 Commission admits it doesn't have the entire story and there's much CYAing going on even to this day. I understand that, but I don't see evidence coming from the 'there were explosives' theory side that is persuasive. There's no rational reason to avoid learning more. I agree, so where is MORE evidence, not just more theories? I think it's much more rational to say that there was bungling and foot dragging in the FBI, the CIA, the NSA, the WH, the Pentagon, etc. IMO that's a much more fruitful line of inquiry. Why wasn't O'Neil able to get into Yemen? Why didn't the Bushies strike after it was determined who was responsible for the Cole? Why were the Republicans so gung ho to prevent Clinton from pursuing OBL? Why did Bush demote Clark's position and ignore Clinton and Berger when they said terrorism and AQ were job 1? I still don't see why anyone would take the unnecessary risk of concealing massive amounts of wired explosives in 3 well-used, highly public, very crowded buildings when they could easily have used trucks with explosives and placed them in many places around the country to simulate a 'coordinated' attack. This could then have been blamed on anyone and created fear and loathing around the country. I'll ask again. What is the purpose of concealing the WTC being brought down by explosives? Why not just say that the terrorists also rigged the WTC to explode? Why the secrecy?
