Thanks for the Taqiyyah reference.

Finished watching the 911 show tonite. The only piece of perspective that I found really disturbing was the motivation of terrorists. One of the guys said he was talking to a christian priest about serving God by learning patience and turning the other cheek. He said that Islam enabled him to do so much more for his God - he was able to wage war FOR his God.

That cuts right through most of the rhetoric. Goes back to the duality of religion - holy spirit vs. holy war. I think that was a title of a book some time back. The taqiyyah says alot about the deceptive practice of Muslims. I completely agree with you that we can't wipe out the threats, but we can make a policy shift that does not let us sit around with our thumbs up our ass while people seek approval to wipe out terrorists.
