i believe that these are the same guys who were negative on AMD until it dropped below $18 when they put out a buy on the shares...it would seem that they have achieved some credibility on the street

"180 degree change" isn't correct. Intel's inventories were building both at Intel and in the channel three months ago to record levels. I don't think AMD's inventory levels were anywhere near that high in relative terms, especially not in the channel.
